"Wait, what? You're telling me Brahms wrote a SECOND horn trio alongside the *iconic* Eb Trio op. 40?!"
Yeah nah, he actually didn't... but that didn't stop us from pretending he did by transcribing the cello part of his beloved B Major Piano Trio op. 8 for french horn and recording it alongside the O.G. on our self-titled debut album.
New Zealand audiences have frothed over it – yes, EVEN CELLISTS – so we think it's high time we pop over the ditch to share it with our Melbourne Mates and hear their verdict.

Composed of husband and wife duo, Alex and Arna Morton, and pianist Liam Wooding, Morton Trio has been delighting and engaging audiences with charismatic performances throughout Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad since 2017. The trio is dedicated to the discovery and performance of lesser known works for the genre alongside expanding the horn trio repertoire through their own arrangements and compositions.
